Comment:

In June, the dry weather continued almost without rain, similar to what happened in May. It started raining only from June 24th. However, these were mostly thunderstorms with local rain. A total of 82.2 mm of precipitaition fell, of which 63.3 mm fell between June 24th and the end of the month. Dry weather was accompanied by high temperatures. The average temperature in June reached 19.5°C. The long-term average is 17.0°C. High temperatures and dry weather negatively affected the growth of hops. On a large part of the areas, the hop plants did not reach the top of the trellis, i.e. 7m, by the end of June. In June the second hilling and the second and third spraying were carried out against downy mildew, hop aphid and partly against spider mite. The health state of hops on TOP HOP farms is good so far.
