Harvest garden checking with Heineken
On Tuesday 26th of August, we had the honour to welcome representatives of Heineken, who came to see the hop gardens and harvest at TOP HOP GROUP.
Apart from the usual presentation and tour around our processing plant and warehouse, our guest had the opportunity to see the procedure of how farmers bring their dried raw hops into our warehouse. Right after we got to see the newly built irrigation systems and water reservoirs at CHMELEX Hořesedly.
Next stops of our trip were hop gardens with Saaz Special, as well as the hop picking facilities and belt kilns at Vlkov, which all belong to our farm Zlaté Chmelové Údolí. We continued to similar facilities at Soběchleby / ZS Blšany, where we inspected a traditional chamber kiln. As a last stop, we took a look at hop gardens with Sladek and the nearby facilities of our farm Petrohradská.
