TOP HOP is representing Czech hops abroad
In October 2024 the Ministry of Agriculture of the Czech Republic together with the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Kenya organized a beerbrewing business mission to Nairobi, and we did not miss the chance to represent Czech hops in Africa.
This event was a continuation of yet another incoming project, during which Kenyan brewers visited Czech Republic a year ago. We took this opportunity to deepen our relationships and building a strong partnership with our Kenyan counterparts.
During a workshop in Nairobi, which was officially opened by the Ambassador of the Czech Republic Mrs. Nicol Adamcova, we presented TOP HOP Group to a crowd of representatives of the local brewing scene, including the biggest brewery in Kenya the EABL. For some of the brewers this was the first ever opportunity to see and smell raw dry hops. During the next days, we visited all the major craft breweries in the country, shared knowledge on how to brew best Czech style lagers and had meetings with local distrubutors.
