
Current hop acreage in Czech Republic for season 2026
Like every April, the Central Institute for Supervising and Testing in Agriculture (ÚKZÚZ) published current hop acreage in the Czech Republic.

Total harvest acreage in Czech Republic is currently 4 786,0 hectares. Compared to last year, this means a decreased of -29,9 hectares.
The largest part of this acreage is traditionally covered by the most important Czech variety Saaz, at current acreage of 3 941,6 ha. Compared to last year, this means a decrease of -10,7 ha. Other varieties of importance were currently planted at the following acreage:
Sládek (474,1 ha, YoY +12,5 ha)
Premiant (164,5 ha, YoY -23,8 ha)
Agnus (67,6 ha, YoY -4,8 ha)
Saaz Special (43,8 ha, YoY +4,0 ha).
