Incoming mission from US and Canada
Beginning of this week we welcomed an incoming mission of Canadian and American brewers.
We had the honour to welcome brewers from Canada, accompanied by agricultural attaché at Czech Embassy in Ottawa Filip Lameš, and USA, accompanied by agricultural attaché at Czech Embassy in Washington Sarka Sachtova.
Due to the ongoing maintenance works, we could not show our guests directly how hop pellets are produced, but we simply described all the processes and reasons why TOP HOP is unique among all the hop suppliers in Czech Republic. A little tour through our refiregerated storage, as well as laboratory V.F. Humulus, where hop analises, breeding and production of virus free plants were shown. Last but not least, we did a typical sensorial testing of our varieties and description of the major differences in aromas they provide.
