Harvest visit from Suntory
On the occasion of Dočesná, annual hop harvest celebration in Saaz town, we had the honour to welcome a group of representatives from Japanese brewery Suntory.
For the majority of our guests, who were mainly from Suntory sales department, this was the first time they could actually see hops in real life. Considering that this particular hops is one of the keys for success of their premium beer Suntory Premium Malts, the opportunity to smell the hops and experience its aroma was quite an extraordinary moment for many. After the usual excursion around Horesedly processing plant we continued to one of our farms ZS Blšany, where hop harvest, hop picking and drying in traditional chamber kiln was demonstrated.
