Between 9th and 11th June, we took part in the Brazilian brewing convention BrasilBrau 2026 in Sao Paulo..

Like every April, the Central Institute for Supervising and Testing in Agriculture (ÚKZÚZ) published current hop acreage in the Czech Republic.

After the season 2025 finished, TOP HOP and V.F. Humulus teams took a break and organized a small teambuilding event. This time it took place just “around the corner”, in the world famous hop growing center, the historic town of Saaz.

On May 12th we had the honour to welcome yet another incoming mission of international brewers interested in Czech hops, this time from the Philippines.

Last Friday we welcomed students of Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague to show them how hops are stored and processed at our plant in Hořesedly.

Even though processing of last crop finished just couple of weeks ago, we do not take a break. We’re cutting the hop plants for crop 2026 🤘

After many months, we finally reached the end of the hops crop 2025. On Friday March 27th, we processed the last bale of hops of the latest crop. Now is the time for annual general cleaning and maintenance of our processing plant, as well as preparations for the next season.

Last week we took part in the Drinktec 2025 trade fair in Munich, which took place from 15th till 19th of September 2025. As always, it was a great experience for us.

On Monday 8th of September we took part in the Hop Grower Event organised by Asahi. During our part of the programme, we took our guests to see our low trellis hops constructions, irrigation reservoirs as well as meteorological station that forms part of the FOR HOPS project, which is organised by Pilsner Urquell/Asahi.
