After many months, we finally reached the end of the hops crop 2025. On Friday March 27th, we processed the last bale of hops of the latest crop. Now is the time for annual general cleaning and maintenance of our processing plant, as well as preparations for the next season.

On Monday 8th of September we took part in the Hop Grower Event organised by Asahi. During our part of the programme, we took our guests to see our low trellis hops constructions, irrigation reservoirs as well as meteorological station that forms part of the FOR HOPS project, which is organised by Pilsner Urquell/Asahi.
The whole brewing community worldwide, including the largest multinational brewing groups, is eagerly waiting for this year’s harvest results. That’s why we had the honour to welcome the representatives of Molson Coors Beverage Company and show them how the grand finale of the current crop 2025 looks like at TOP HOP GROUP.
On Tuesday 26th of August, we had the honour to welcome representatives of Heineken, who came to see the hop gardens and harvest at TOP HOP GROUP.
On Thursday 21st of August hop harvest 2025 at TOP HOP GROUP has begun. The first farms that started harvesting were CHMEL PODLESÍ and Petrohradská.
Last week we had the honour to welcome representatives of the Japanese brewery Suntory, who came for garden checking just before the harvest begun. Apart from hop gardens, we also visited production facilities of PREOL in Lovosice.
At the end of this year’s hops processing season, most of TOP HOP and V.F. Humulus teams set out for a joint teambuilding that took place in the legendary Budweiser Budvar, the last remaining Czech national brewery. And it wasn’t just an ordinary brewery visit – we received a full brewery tour that turned out to be a 5-hour experience full of new insights, flavours and inspiration.
Central institute for supervising and testing in agriculture (ÚKZÚZ) published the current hop acreage for upcoming season 2025.
