
Brewers from Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan in Horesedly
This week we welcomed a group of Kazakh and Kyrgyz brewers in Hořesedly. Yet another trip organized by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Czech Republic brought a group of professionals with an interest in Czech brewing supplies as well as hops and malt. The visitors represented six Kazakh and Kyrgyz breweries.

TOP HOP at BrauBeviale 2024: Czech quality and tradition in the heart of beer brewing industry
During 26th till 28th November 2024, TOP HOP team participated at this years BrauBeviale 2024 in Nürnberg. This convention, one of the largest of it’s kind, attracted crowds of like minded people from all around the world, all with one aim – meet and share insights from what we all love, the beverage industry. For us it was a great opportunity to represent Czech values, traditions and our broad experience from the area of hops growing, processing and trade.

Report from ministerial mission to Turkey and Serbia
As part of an official trip of the Minister of Agriculture of the Czech Republic Mr. Marek Výborný to Turkey and Serbia in November 2024, we met with representatives of beer brewing and agricultural sectors of these two countries.

In October 2024 the Ministry of Agriculture of the Czech Republic together with the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Kenya organized a beerbrewing business mission to Nairobi, and we did not miss the chance to represent Czech hops in Africa.

We are happy to announce new acquisition!
TOP HOP GROUP, the current leader in hop growing in the Czech Republic, is continuing in it’s expansion. We are happy to announce, that we just concluded an acquisition of a new farm, the company LUPOFYT s.r.o., which owns and manages 1817 hectares of arable land and 83 hectares of hop gardens!

Delegation from Vietnam came to Horesedly
Last week we had the pleasure to welcome a Vietnamese delegation consisting of representatives of Habeco as well as distributors of brewing supplies. This visit was organized by Ministry of Agriculture of the Czech Republic as part of their projects of economic diplomacy.

Brazilian brewers at our production plant
Recently we welcomed a group of Brazilian brewers and brewing supplies distributors at our production plant in Horesedly. This visit was organized by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Czech Republic as part of their economic diplomacy programme.

Suntory delegation paid us a visit
We had the honour to receive a large delegation of representatives from one of the most important Japanese beverage producers, the company Suntory Spirits Ltd., who came to our production plant in Hořesedly.

We participated at Fine Food Australia
In the beginning of September, we participated in one of the many projects organized by Ministry of Agriculture of the Czech Republic, as part of the Czech exposition at international food trade fair Fine Food Australia in Melbourne.

We havested our low trellis hop gardens
Beginnings of this innovative method of hop growing comes from the UK, where it’s become quite a popular method of hop growing. These constructions are only 3 meters tall as opposed to the standard 7 meters construction.

Experimental hop garden „U Mlýna“
Hop research in Destnice near Saaz has had a long tradition since the time of Dr. Karel Osvald, and our team from V.F. HUMULUS is proud to continue in his legacy.

Hop harvest is in full swing!
